You will be entered into a draw for a series of prizes. The Draws will occur during the Humboldt Tradeshow and Showcase, taking place on November 5^th and 6^th. This week, we took the wraps off our covered vehicle to unveil a 2012 Chevrolet Orlando! Over the past two weeks, if you were able to visit Colony Motor Products, you might have noticed a vehicle that was covered by a tarp. AND...NO...it wasn't because of all the dust that's blowing around, this time of year. We were holding a contest to see if anyone could guess the covered vehicle. 4 Lucky winners received a FREE Interior and Exterior car wash courtesy of Colony Motor Products, valued at $120. Thanks to everyone who guessed. Our next contest will likely be the first weekend of November at the Humboldt Tradeshow...so stayed tuned for that!

I recently was able to see some of the most remarkable and entertaining new concepts from General Motors (GM) Canada. At the "NOW!" conference for dealership owners and general managers, we received a glimpse into the future line up of cars and trucks that are coming. While they don't want us to see everything, it appears that the research and development pipeline is packed full of exciting products such as a new Chevrolet Malibu and a redesign of the current half ton trucks.

As exciting as it is, though, we'll have to wait until the 2013 and 2014 models for these vehicles.

Right now, the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic and 2012 Chevrolet Orlando will be arriving on the ground of GM stores in anticipation of their biggest vehicle launch in Chevrolet's history. In all honesty, we are not a small car market, but I still think that the Sonic will have a lot of appeal to younger drivers based on its low price point. The Sonic will be offered in a 5 door hatchback and in a 4 door sedan model. It is rated at 51 MPG for highway fuel efficiency. The 7 passenger Orlando brings something back that was lost with the departure of minivans from GM and will be plenty fuel efficient.

Accompanying the Sonic and Orlando is the 2012 Chevrolet Volt. We will not be receiving a Volt, here, but it is still an industry trend setter and it's highly anticipated by dealerships and Chevrolet enthusiasts. Due to its advanced electrical systems, the Volt requires specialized training in order for a dealership to sell it.
